When installing GnuPG for OS X for the first time, control+click or right-click on Install.pkg and choose Open from the popup menu.Do not rely on the SourceForge SHA-1 checksum. Both the digital signature and the SHA-256 checksum were created on the build platform. Only if that method is unavailable because you lack a previous GnuPG version should you consider using the SHA-256 checksum provided in this document (see above).
